a cunning plan!

I just had a mad and brilliant idea!!!

First it requires me to admit somethink: I have no skill in the creation of avatars.

Therefore I propose a challenge, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to make me an avatar that I will like and use, and be seen by everyone wherever I post on DA (and possibly LJ...). I promise to credit the artist of this creation repeatedly. And I will give a prize/pressie to the artist which can be worked out between us. (It could even be chocolate...)

Please friends, help me out here!!

oooh, lookee me...

oh, how exciting...

look, I get a one-week subscription account for free. Aren't I lucky!

Ok, so I don't use this journal at all, however have recently started a livejournal, see it here: [link]

I also promise that I will put up more art in the near future (this is for my benefit, to try to motivate me to follow through on my promises... hmmm...).

Hugs for my friends in OCAD, I hear its a bitch. I am busy slacking off and still getting high marks in academic courses. Ok I lie. Am not actually slacking off that much, and my marks are not so high. Anyways, hope everyone is enjoying themselves, cheers!

hi all, know I haven't posted or updated in a while... but I promise that once I have finished my current art project I will show it off to everyone! Also I might post some pictures of my fish. That's right, I have a fish! And what's more, I have succeeded in not killing him in the one or two months I've had him!

anyways, saw this on a friend's LJ, thought I'd give it a try...

one week... and a bit. Among other things

until I leave my happy childhood home and enter the wide world of university. But that's not what I feel like writing about, since everyone I talk to seems to want to talk about oh, when are you leaving, and oh, isn't it exciting... yes, its exciting, thankyou, come again...

But anyways. Once again, my family has left me to fend for myself for a few days. This is not unusual. In fact, it has gotten so that I find it unusual for them to be home. And I am not complaining. This summer I have finally been given the unrestricted space and time to accomplish whatever I like on my own, with the most cursory of supervision at odd intervals, provided the dishes are done when someone finally does come home. And really, its been a spectacular waste of time. Take for example the fact that I am writing this instead of embarking on one of the hundreds of ridiculous and crazyfun ideas that occupy my head at any moment. And of course, I'm not just talking about art projects, there are all sorts of other things to be doing. And then there are many rather necessary things I could be doing, like packing for uni, or trying to figure out on my own how my new computer works so that I'm not totally helpless (although being helpless can be fun, so many people respond so well to damsels in distess...). I, however have chosen to sit and be lazy by writing a journal complaining about my lazyness.

On to more interesting things: I have a question for those of you who chance to read this and feel like responding: In the absence of fabric paint, would you use oil or acrylic to paint a t-shirt?

Update on my life: Seeing as I am going to be uprooted in almost two weeks artwork, especially of a digital nature, will not be forthcoming until after the great upheaval. This is in part due to the fact that I am using a borrowed monitor which is small and cramped, and entirely unsuited for even looking at pictures, much less editing them. However I have some fun ideas... meh, I'm assuming people care and will read this. Must stop such foolishness...

feeling lonely, but maybe its just girl stuff...
